How do I open the gas tank on the Ford Expedition 2020?

I’ve been searching high and low in my new (to me) 2020 Ford Expedition for a way to open my gas tank door and am coming up empty. How do I get into this thing?

Don’t worry, this is an easy fix! To open the gas tank on the 2020 Ford Expedition, all you need to do is push on the gas tank lid door.

It should release the latch holding it closed and easily swing open for you. And it gets even easier once the gas tank lid is open because the 2020 Expedition is designed with Ford’s Easy Fuel capless gas tank.

Just stick the pump in the slot and start filling!

After you’ve filled up (or topped off) the 25-gallon tank in your Ford with regular gas and are ready to close the gas tank, just push the door closed again. You should hear or feel the lid latch and then you’re ready to hit the road again!
