How do I open the gas tank on a 2022 Ford Edge?
I borrowed a friend’s Edge for the weekend and I need to fill up the gas tank before I return it. For the life of me, I cannot figure out how to get into the gas tank. How do I open the gas tank on a 2022 Ford Edge?

To open the gas tank on a 2022 Ford Edge, press lightly on the outside of the fuel door and then release.
It used to be that there was a switch or lever near the floor on the driver’s side. This would pop open the fuel door and then you’d exit the car, open the door, and unscrew the gas cap.
Many newer vehicles, including the 2022
Ford Edge
, have completely removed the fuel door release lever from the interior. Instead, you have to leave the car and go around to the fuel door. Simply press and release on the left-hand side of your Edge’s fuel door. The mechanism will pop open the door. Now, you can unscrew the gas cap and fuel up. Easy! To close the door, press until it’s slightly depressed and the door latches.
Since you aren’t very familiar with this car, check the owners manual for the correct gas type and octane rating before stopping at the pump. Selecting the
