I'm a proud Subaru owner. Just curious—how do I open up my Subaru Outback’s trunk from the inside of the car?

There is an internal handle that can open a
Subaru Outback
’s trunk from the inside.
This internal handle is useful if the trunk won’t open automatically or you are stuck and can only exit through the vehicle’s rear.
There is a small plastic cover at the center of the tailgate on the bottom of your trunk hatch. Removing the plastic cover will reveal the lock. You’ll see a lever on the lock which, when activated, will unlock the trunk.
With the trunk unlocked, simply push to get the trunk to open.
