How do I open a Cadillac STS hood?
I feel kind of silly asking, but how do I raise the hood on my Cadillac STS? My dad told me I need to check the oil and I’ve never had to open the hood before so I don’t know how.

Don’t feel silly! Many car owners face the same dilemma, but happily, the process of
opening a car’s hood
is pretty easy. - Pull the hood release lever. This will be located in the lower left foot area on the driver’s side of the cabin. Once you pull the lever, your hood should slightly pop up.
- Release the safety latch. Head to the front of your vehicle and around the center of the hood. Reach in the gap under the hood created from the hood release lever and find the safety latch. Push up on the latch and the hood will open all the way.
Easy, right? Finding the safety latch might be a pain once or twice, but once you get the hang of where it is and how to press it, opening
