How do I make sure my GEICO insurance doesn't renew?

"I don't want to cancel my GEICO car insurance, but I don't want to renew either.

How do I make sure that my policy ends before the renewal period?"

“Many
car insurance
companies will auto-renew your insurance policy, so it’s essential to make sure you aren’t enrolled in auto-renew if you want your policy to lapse by the renewal date.
Typically, a notice of renewal will be sent out a few weeks before the renewal date, but to ensure that you opt out in time, it’s probably best to contact
GEICO
directly.
Keep in mind that if you let
your policy lapse
, you may find that your rates increase.
A better route is to work out the new policy and pay for it before the old policy lapses.”
