How do I connect Bluetooth to a Honda Pilot 2012?

Once you get comfortable driving a car with Bluetooth, it’s hard to ever go back! Luckily, it’s easy to connect Bluetooth to a 2012
Honda Pilot
. You just have to enable the Bluetooth function on your mobile phone and add it as a new device on your Pilot’s multimedia system.Start by pressing the button that says “Phone” on your dashboard. The multimedia screen will display a message asking if you want to add a phone to the system. Turn the control knob to the left so that the “Yes” option is highlighted on the touchscreen, then press enter in the center of the control knob to select it.
The multimedia system should show your mobile phone as a pairing option. When you select it from the list, you will be given a four-digit code. Your Honda Pilot may show up as a pairing option in your phone’s Bluetooth Settings menu as HandsFreeLink. Tap it and type that code into your phone when prompted—this will pair the multimedia system with your 2012 Honda Pilot.
Bluetooth connectivity makes life more convenient by allowing you to access your phone’s contact list and stream music without being tempted to frantically scroll through your phone while driving (which is illegal and unsafe), so it’s worth taking a few extra minutes to get it set up. Safe travels!
