How do I install the Mini Cooper infotainment system update?
I saw via the Mini Connected app that there was an infotainment system update available, but I don’t know how to actually download it. How do I install the Mini Cooper infotainment system update?

Great question! To install your Mini Cooper’s infotainment system update, you will need to visit BMW’s (if you didn’t know, BMW owns MINI) software update page and have a USB-stick handy.
Once you click through to the website, you will need to enter your vehicle identification number (VIN), which can be found on your registration paperwork, insurance card, or on a small plaque attached to the base of the dashboard on the drivers side.
After entering your VIN, you will be able to search for the latest updates—if any are available, you simply have to follow the instructions provided and download the update to a USB-drive. You will then need to insert the USB into the USB port in your Mini Cooper to install the update.
