How do I connect Bluetooth to the Ford Escape?
I have a Ford Escape that I recently bought from a friend of mine. He told me that it has Bluetooth, but I have no idea how to connect it. What steps do I need to take to connect Bluetooth to an Escape?

Even without the owner’s manual, setting up Bluetooth on the Escape is surprisingly easy and only takes about two minutes. To connect Bluetooth to the Ford Escape, follow these steps:
- Press the phone icon on the Escape’s touchscreen.
- Select Add Phone.
- Enable Bluetooth on your phone.
- Select Ford Escape from the list of Bluetooth devices on your phone.
- Your phone will display a PIN; make sure that it matches the PIN displayed on the multimedia system. Press Yes.
- Press Finish on the touch screen, and you’re done!
Once you connect Bluetooth, you can access your contacts and use hands-free calling. However, models made in 2017 or later have Apple CarPlay and Android Auto for audio streaming rather than a simple Bluetooth audio streaming mode. This should make it far easier to play the tunes you want.
