How do I check tire pressure on a Nissan Sentra from 2017?

I recently bought a 2017 Nissan Sentra that I use to go to work. My commute is fairly long, so I like to make sure my car is in tip-top shape whenever I can. What do I do to check tire pressure on a 2017 Nissan Sentra?

Checking tire pressure on your car is surprisingly easy, but you should pay close attention to the tire pressure monitor system (TPMS) on your Sentra. This is a dashboard light that will alert you if your tires need air, but it’s still good practice to check your tires every now and again.
Here’s how to check tire pressure on a Nissan Sentra from 2017:
  1. The correct tire pressure for the 2017 Sentra is either 32 or 33 PSI—you can also find this information on the placard on the inside of the driver’s door jamb.
  2. Unscrew the valve stem on the tire.
  3. Push your tire gauge to the valve stem to get a tire pressure rating or PSI.
  4. Once you have this rating, you should either add air through a compressor or remove air using the backside of the tire gauge until you reach either 32 or 33 PSI.
