How do I check the tire pressure on a 2020 Toyota RAV4?

My RAV4 feels a little off while driving it, and I think it might be the tire pressure. How can I check this?

Sorry to hear your RAV4 isn’t driving like it should! To check the tire pressure on a 2020 Toyota RAV4, you’ll want to follow these steps:
  • Check for a Tire Pressure Monitoring System warning: Turn your RAV4 on and check its display for a warning light. If the TPMS light is on, there’s a tire with low tire pressure.
  • Manually check tire pressure: Unscrew the tire valve cap on the tire you wish to check and connect the nozzle of a tire pressure gauge to the valve stem. Adjust the gauge until there’s no sound of air escaping.
  • Repeat the process: Check each tire’s pressure at least twice. You may receive a false reading the first time.
That said, there could be many reasons your RAV4 is not functioning as it should. We recommend taking your RAV4 to a trusted mechanic to correctly diagnose the issue.
