Setting up new electronic gadgets in your car can be pretty confusing. Don’t sweat it, though—we’ll get you sorted out in no time. Just follow these step-by-step instructions on how to program a
Ford Fusion’s
garage door opener:
  • Turn on your Ford Fusion
  • In one hand, hold your old garage door opener 1-3 inches away from the HomeLink panel of buttons.
  • Pick which HomeLink button you’d like to reprogram. Then press it down and hold it while also pressing and holding the open button on your old garage door opener.
  • the green indicator light should start blinking rapidly.
  • After about 5 seconds, the HomeLink indicator light should turn to a sold light to indicate that your pairing was successful!
  • Test the opener out a few times to make sure that it’s working properly.
And that’s it! You’re all set!
