There are several possible reasons why the radio in your Tesla is not working. The most common causes of that issues include:
Accidentally muted the radio
A glitch in the radio’s system
An accidental muting is the easiest of these to fix. Simply unmute your radio by clicking the speaker icon, scrolling down to the mute button, and hitting it again.
Resolving a glitch in the system is also fairly easy; you just need to reset your Tesla. You can do this by:
Pressing and holding the brake pedal
At the same time, press and hold both the scroll wheels wheel and the buttons above them
The screen should turn off and then back on
After that, you can release the buttons and the brake pedal.
If the issue turns out to be a software bug—which is all too common—the only thing that can resolve it is a software update from Tesla. Sadly, the only remedy for this type of issue is patience. Fortunately, Telas is fairly on-the-ball regarding these things, and an update for any radio glitches should be released relatively soon.
