How do I avoid a head-on collision?

My father was in a head-on collision when I was young and he’s in constant pain as a result. I don’t want to end up the same way, so I want to ensure that I’m never in a head-on collision. What are some ways to avoid a head-on collision?

Head-on collisions have the highest fatality rate of any type of collision because it’s the equivalent of running into a brick wall. Not only do you risk serious injury during this type of accident, but you also can total your car.
To avoid a head-on collision, follow these tips:
  • Never use your high beams when a car is coming in the other direction and within 500 feet.
  • Keep up on regular maintenance on your vehicle, including checking your tires regularly.
  • Don’t speed and avoid traffic signs.
  • Never drive under the influence.
  • Limit distracted driving.
  • Always move to the right to avoid an obstacle or collision.
Hopefully, you’re never in a head-on collision. But if you are, you can at least take solace in knowing you have a great insurance policy to cover your property and medical bills. Finding an affordable policy isn’t as hard as you think either. Just hop on the
