How common are electric car charging stations in the south?
I own an electric car and plan to move to the South. I doubt that I'll have as much access as I do to chargers right now in California. Can you tell me how common electric car charging stations are in the South?

Much prep goes into moving, especially when you own an electric car. Because charging stations are unevenly distributed, it’s hard to say how common they are in the South.
It’s not all bad because
electric cars
are here to stay. As sales grow each year in the U.S., the infrastructure must evolve to support EV owners. Some states are better equipped with charging stations—perhaps due to the number of electric cars sold. But some states are still behind. According to the Department of Energy, the U.S has roughly 43,000 public charging stations. Of those stations, the majority of them have Level 2 chargers. Of all the states, California has the most available charging stations.
Most of the Southern states are in the lower end of States with available charging stations. So it would help if you planned to do most of your charging at home or research where exactly to find charging stations. Charging station availability is guaranteed to change in the coming years as the country adjusts to electric vehicle adoption.
