How can I remove the door trim on a Honda Civic?
I hit a huge pothole the other day and spilled my coffee all over my car door. I got most of it cleaned up, but I think a lot of it seeped in through my door’s trim. Is there any way I can remove the door trim on my Honda Civic?

I’m sorry to hear that you’re dealing with such a big mess! Luckily, removing the door trim on your Honda Civic is fairly simple to do. You will need a Philips head screwdriver and a flathead screwdriver to get started.
- Remove the screws inside of the door handle and pull the handle out of its housing. With your flathead screwdriver, pry out the plastic panel.
- Pry off the window switch and unplug the electrical components.
- Use your flathead screwdriver to pry out the door panel. Begin with the lower corners and move across carefully.
- Lift the door panel out of place.
