How can I keep my car amp from overheating?

I recently got an amplifier installed in my car and the thing keeps overheating. I don’t want to have to return it and do the uninstallation process. How can I keep my car amp from overheating?

I’m sorry to hear that you’re having problems with your new amplifier. However, there are a few ways you can keep your car amp from overheating:
  • Change the position of your amp or install ventilation to keep it cool
  • Check for loose wiring
  • Make sure that the amp has been installed properly
  • Go to an audio sound professional and have them assess and repair the problem
Once the issue with your amp is resolved, be sure to get the proper
