How can I clean salt stains from car mats?

In anticipation of snow here in Georgia, my town salted every street to the extreme. It turned out to just be cold rain and now I have salt stains all over my car. How do you get salt marks off car mats?

I’m sorry to hear about the unnecessary salt assault! Luckily, you can clean salt stains off car mats quite easily with warm water and white vinegar.
Start by either vacuuming or shaking out your car mats. This will get rid of any debris stuck on the mat.
Then, combine one part warm water and one part white vinegar in a spray bottle. Or, if you’re out of vinegar, dish soap will do just fine.
Spray the mixture onto the areas with salt stains and dab the spot with a clean cloth or towel. Repeat as necessary. Be sure to use a dry section of the cloth or towel each time you wipe the area.
Give your mats some time to dry before putting them back in your car. While you wait, consider checking out the
