According to the Android Auto website, the WRX offers Android Auto compatibility in 2019 and later model years. If you drive an earlier model, you may still be able to get this feature by installing an aftermarket product.
The best option will be to install an aftermarket radio head. You will need to choose from a single or double din configuration depending on the model and trim level of your vehicle.
Fortunately, this is a simple DIY modification project and the average price of a radio head is between $200-$400. You can find radio heads at your local auto parts stores, BestBuy, Amazon, and even eBay.
