Does the Honda Fit get good gas mileage?

I love the compact design of the Honda Fit, but I’m worried that I wouldn’t get good gas mileage because it’s such a small car. What kind of gas mileage can I expect?

The
Honda Fit
can get up to 33 miles per gallon in the city and 40 miles per gallon on the highway, giving the car an average gas mileage of 36 miles per gallon. This is a fairly average mileage when compared to other vehicles of the same size.
If you’re looking for a smaller vehicle with very good gas mileage, however, your best bet is a hybrid or electric vehicle like the Toyota Prius. These vehicles offer much better gas mileage without compromising their size since they are partially powered electrically.
