. For the 2013 model year, Bluetooth was available on all but the base-level S trim.Conveniently, pairing it with a Bluetooth-compatible device can take less than a couple of minutes! If yours is equipped, here’s how you can pair a device with your 2013 Escape via Bluetooth:
- Turn Bluetooth on in your device settings
- On your phone or Bluetooth device, find the available “SYNC” connection option and select it
- Verify the PIN that appears on your phone matches the one on your vehicle’s infotainment screen. If the two PINs match, press “yes” on the radio screen and “pair” on your device.
That’s essentially all there is to it! After this step, your phone will be paired with your 2013 Ford Escape. You’ll also be asked whether you want to upload your device’s contacts to the vehicle, which you can accept or decline.
