No, the 2004
GMC Envoy
does not have Bluetooth. But that doesn’t mean you’re out of options.
While you won’t be able to wirelessly stream music or make hands-free phone calls, you can upgrade your sound system in a wide variety of ways.
Bluetooth receivers are the easiest way to add Bluetooth to a car’s radio. You can connect your phone to a Bluetooth receiver and stream music to it. The receiver is then plugged into the 3.5mm input jack (auxiliary in), which is usually near the center controls or inside the center console.
If your car or radio doesn’t have an auxiliary input, an FM transmitter is your best bet; it broadcasts the sound over a FM radio frequency rather than through an auxiliary cable. You can choose a dedicated Bluetooth speakerphone instead if you don’t mind not being able to stream music through your car’s stereo.
If having Bluetooth connectivity is a non-negotiable for your new ride, consider a GMC made in 2017 or later. Here are a few modern GMC cars that do have Bluetooth:
