Does Jeep make electric cars?

Does Jeep have any plans to manufacture electric cars? I love Jeeps because they’re so rugged and reliable, but I really want an electric car to save on gas.

As of right now,
Jeep
 does not make any electric cars. However, the brand has released ​​plug-in hybrid versions of its
Wrangler
 and
Grand Cherokee
 SUVs—both of which will still definitely save you some money on gas prices!
Jeep has also announced plans for a fully electric SUV for sometime next year. The Jeep EV’s name hasn’t been released yet, but it is set to drop in 2023. This makes Jeep one of the last brands to release a fully-electric vehicle, as the demand for electric and hybrid cars continues to climb.
