No, Geico does not offer credits or discounts for electric cars.
While there has been a rise in the number of electric cars on the road, many insurance companies have not yet provided many credits or discounts for
electric cars
 drivers.
This is because most insurance companies base their prices around the type of driver you are and your driving history. It is also common practice for there to be a reduction in car insurance for younger drivers if they have attended driving school.
EVs often face higher insurance rates simply due to higher maintenance costs and higher prices for replacement car parts. This said, there are other ways driving an EV could
save you money
.
