Do you have to pay for repairs if your car is still under warranty?

I've read conflicting articles and received conflicting advice on whether or not I have to pay for repairs if my car is under warranty. Which is it?

Great question! If the repair is listed on your
extended warranty
, you shouldn’t have to pay anything out of pocket, except for maybe the deductible.
However, many third-party extended warranties have some omissions on their contacts to avoid paying out for damage or repairs. This is a fairly normal aspect of some extended warranties, and the original manufacturer’s warranty is usually a bit more lenient on payouts.
Car insurance
also has a mechanical breakdown insurance that can cover the costs of some repairs not covered by your warranty. Above all, knowing the details of your policy will help you avoid a warranty that doesn’t have the coverage you need.
If you do find yourself in need of a new warranty,
Jerry
can help! We’ll get you customized quotes from top providers so that all you need to do is choose the policy that works best for you.
Hope this helps!
