Can you use Windex on car windows?

I’m a clean freak. Up until a few weeks ago, I’d never owned a car before. Now that I have one, I want to make sure that it stays spic and span. To clean the windows, can I use Windex?

If you’re a clean freak,
keeping your car clean
 is definitely something to put at the top of your priority list. That said, you can definitely use Windex on car windows, as it’s a glass cleaner.
However, there’s also a misconception that Windex can damage tinted windows. But this has no basis to it. Ammonia-based window cleaners, such as Windex, shouldn’t damage tinted windows in any way, so feel free to use it whenever you want to.
