Can you take defensive driving for two tickets?

I received two tickets in rapid succession—one for running a red light and one for speeding. I’ve read that I can get the points taken off my license or the ticket dismissed if I take a defensive driving course. Can I take a defensive driving class for two tickets?

? Be careful on the roads! While you cannot take defensive driving for two tickets, you can take the class for one of them. That means that the additional ticket will stay on your permanent record. The other one will go bye-bye—but only if you pass the test.
If you get the points removed for one or both tickets, note that they will still remain on your driving record for three years. This can affect your car insurance rates. The good news is that comparison shopping for car insurance has never been easier thanks to the
