Can you take a driving test with a chipped windshield?

I’ve been taking my driving lessons in my parents’ Toyota Highlander. It’s been super fun to drive, but I was driving yesterday, and some debris chipped the windshield. The chip is in the top right corner, so it’s not really in the way. Can I still take my driving test if my car has a chipped windshield?

Sorry to hear about your chipped windshield! Stuff happens, as they say! The good news is that you can take a driving test with a chipped windshield, so long as it isn’t in your field of vision.
When the examiner comes out to your car, they’ll do an inspection. You’ll know pretty quickly if your car doesn’t pass, but don’t stress. A chip isn’t like a cracked windshield, so prepare and get ready to pass your test!
If you’re worried about a chipped windshield in the future, you can always add a glass replacement policy to your
