No, you cannot flat tow a Nissan Titan—regardless of whether it’s a four-wheel drive or rear-wheel drive model. Attempting to flat tow a Titan behind your RV could result in major damage to your vehicle’s transfer case and transmission.
But that doesn’t mean you can’t take your Titan on vacation with you. Here are your options:
Flatbed trailer: If you have a four-wheel-drive Titan, you can haul your truck with a flatbed trailer. Just make sure it’s big enough to accommodate your Titan’s 228.2-inch length and 5,487-pound curb weight.
Towing dolly: Four-wheel-drive Titans can also be towed using a towing dolly, so long as none of the Titan’s wheels are rolling on the ground.
Tow with non-drive wheels on the ground: If you have a rear-wheel drive model, you can tow your Titan with the front (non-drive) wheels on the ground. Make sure that the rear drive wheels are off the ground.
