Can you flat tow a Ford Edge?

Some friends and I are driving to the West Coast this summer to enjoy the sun, but we want to bring along a car for smaller trips while the motorhome is parked. Can I flat tow my Ford Edge for our trip?

According to Ford, the Ford Edge can be safely flat towed if it was released in 2017 or earlier. Meanwhile, Ford Edge models from 2019 to 2022 are unfortunately not recommended for flat towing.
In short, if your Ford Edge is from before 2017, then you can safely flat tow it without voiding your insurance coverage.
