Can you flat tow a 2022 Ford Bronco?
I just bought a 2022 Ford Bronco, but I absent-mindedly forgot to think about flat towing it behind my RV. I also really don’t want to purchase a flatbed if I can avoid it. Is it possible to flat tow a 2022 Ford Bronco?

Yes — you can flat tow a 2022 Ford Bronco! It doesn’t matter what trim or transmission you have either. Ford built the Bronco with recreational towing and off-roading in mind.
To flat tow a 2022 Ford Bronco with a manual transmission, follow these steps:
- Switch your vehicle to accessory mode by pressing the push button ignition switch without pressing any pedals.
- Press the 2H button on the four-wheel drive mode control.
- Leave the gearshift lever in the neutral position.
- Fully press and hold both the clutch and the brake pedal.
- Using the instrument cluster controls on the steering wheel, select Settings.
- Select Neutral Tow.
- Press and hold the OK button until a confirmation message appears in the information display.
To flat tow a 2022 Ford Bronco with an automatic transmission, you need to put the transfer case in neutral. To do so, follow these instructions:
- Switch your vehicle to accessory mode by pressing the push-button ignition switch without pressing any pedals.
- Press the 2H button on the four-wheel drive mode control.
