Can Honda dealers do Acura warranty work?
I just bought an Acura and I love it so far! However, I may need some warranty work done in the near future. The only problem is that the Acura dealership is about 150 miles from where I live. However, a Honda dealership is about 10 miles away and I know that Honda owns Acura. Can I take my Acura to a Honda dealership for warranty work?

A Honda dealer has to get special approval to do the warranty work, and this is usually in terms of distance from the customer to the Acura dealership. If you live more than 90 miles from the Acura dealership, Acura will typically let a Honda dealer do the work, as the underpinnings of both are almost identical. Just call ahead to your local Honda dealership to make sure they can do the work.
