Are U-turns legal in Ohio?

I want to go to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, but I’ve never been to Ohio before. While I assume the state driving laws are the same as most other places, I don’t want to get a ticket. Can I legally make a U-turn in Ohio?

U-turns are legal in
Ohio
—so if you overshoot your turn, you shouldn’t have any issues. That said, u-turns are prohibited at some intersections throughout the state, so be sure to keep an eye out for signs.
To make sure you execute a seamless U-turn, just make sure to use these safety tips:
  • Only make a U-turn if you’re in the left-most lane
  • Make sure the coast is clear and always yield to oncoming traffic
  • Never make a U-turn if a sign clearly prohibits it
