Are there toll roads in Indiana?
I’m a photographer by trade and I want to expand my portfolio by driving all over Indiana. However, I don’t want to spend money on tolls if I don’t have to. Does Indiana have any toll roads?

That sounds like an awesome experience! Fortunately, *there are only two roads in Indiana.
The toll roads in Indiana include:
- The Indiana Toll Road: This road stretches 157 miles from the Ohio-Indiana border to the Illinois-Indiana border. It’s the only multi-lane, non-stop route between Chicago and the Ohio Turnpike, making it the fastest way to traverse the state from east to west and vice-versa. The tolls range from $3.50 to $13.50 depending on where you enter the tollway.
- Cline Avenue Bridge: The only other toll in the state is the Cline Avenue Bridge in East Chicago, Indiana. This bridge traverses the Indiana Harbor and Ship Canal on Indiana Route 912. It’s highly unlikely that you would take this bridge, as it’s in an industrial area, but if you do, the price is $2.50 if you have the EZ Pass/I-Pass or $5.50 for pay by plate.
