Are there toll roads in Arkansas?

I’m going on a cross-country road trip, and I’m going to be driving through Arkansas. If possible, I want to avoid tolls, as I have plenty of time to complete my trip. What toll roads are there in Arkansas?

Don’t stress about toll roads in the Natural State.
Arkansas
is one of only 18 states that have no toll roads, so whether you’re on the interstate, a state route, or a county road, it’s all 100% free to use.
The surrounding states of Texas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana all have toll roads, so you may want to plan your route ahead of time if you’re looking to minimize your travel costs.
If you do find yourself in one of the surrounding states with toll roads, the most effective form of payment is an
EZ-Pass/Tag
. However, other options include pay-by-plate, and traditional credit card payments.
