Are there any benefits to getting my Cadillac SRX lowered?

I've heard that getting your car lowered can improve its performance. I also heard that it doesn't do anything. Which is it? Should I lower my Cadillac SRX?

In a way, both statements are true. There are some performance benefits of lowering your
Cadillac SRX
—but most of those performance benefits are pretty negligible unless you’re traveling at very high speeds (which of course you aren’t, right?).
You probably won’t notice an improvement with everyday driving, except for the car’s visual appeal, and they do look cool. If you decide to lower your
Cadillac
, just be aware that your insurance costs may go up by a good amount.
