Are struts covered under a Ford warranty?

My new Mustang has been having an insanely unsmooth ride. My girlfriend checked it out and diagnosed a problem with my struts. I’ve only had the car for about a year, so I can’t imagine anything is damaged from wear and tear already. Are the struts covered under my Ford warranty?

Struts are covered under the Ford warranty that comes with all new Fords. Ford’s New Vehicle Limited Warranty is a 3-year/36,000-mile warranty that covers most components in your car, including your struts.
Just remember that the warranty only covers faulty or defective components that fail because of a manufacturing defect. It won’t cover parts that fail due to wear and tear or improper maintenance.
