My kids left their crayons in the car and they melted in the sun. How do I get crayon off leather car seats?

Kids will be rambunctious in the car! Lucky for you, cleaning melted crayon off leather car seats is easy and doesn’t take much time at all.
To remove melted crayon wax from leather car seats, do the following:
- Scrape off as much of the crayon as possible. Use a butter knife, pry tool, or something else that won’t cause too much abrasion to the leather if you press too hard.
- Grab an iron and set it to low heat. Place a folded dishtowel under the iron and place it over the crayon stain. This should melt the wax and allow you to wipe it up. If it doesn’t work, try turning the iron to a slightly higher temperature, but be careful not to burn your leather.
- Use a bit of hand sanitizer on a paper towel to rub the stained area and remove residue.
