rims are not, in fact, the same size, but rather vary between a width range of 14x6 and 20x9, meaning not all Subaru models have interchangeable rims.For example, the
Subaru Legacy
has a stock rim width of 14x6 to 20x8—the largest range out of any Subaru model. This means the Subaru Legacy can be fitted with rims between 14 and 20 inches in diameter, depending on the model year.Before swapping rims with someone else, measure your existing rims and look up the maximum rim size your Subaru model can handle. Installing rims that are too big can cause them to scrape against the body of your car when making turns, which obviously isn’t ideal.
