What does the snowflake on my Tesla mean?

I recently bought a Tesla Model S. When I turned on my car, I noticed a blue snowflake icon on my touchscreen. What does this mean?

You picked an excellent car! When you see a blue snowflake icon in your
Tesla Model S
—or any Tesla vehicle—it means that your battery is cold.
The blue snowflake icon on your Tesla’s touchscreen means that its battery is too cold to access all of its stored energy. When the blue snowflake icon came on, you probably also noticed that your battery power and regenerative braking were limited.
This icon doesn’t mean that your car is in any danger, and will disappear as soon as your battery is warmed. Ways to warm your Tesla battery include charging, driving, and preconditioning.
Now that your mind’s at ease, why don’t you take a couple of minutes to shop for a new

policy for your new ride?
