How do I open an Acura TLX hood?
I need to get access to the battery of my Acura TLX but I don’t know how to open the hood. I feel like I should know how to do this but I guess I’ve never had to open my hood before. How does the hood pop up on an Acura?

Lots of drivers don’t know how to
open their hoods
until they have to do it for the first time, so no biggie! Opening an Acura TLX
hood is fairly simple. Here’s how you can do it:- Pull the hood release lever. For an Acura TLX, this lever will be on the lower left side of the driver’s side cabin and will have a small illustration of a car with its hood open.
- Push the safety latch to the right. You’ll likely have to feel around for the latch if this is your first time opening your hood. It will be towards the center of the hood and you’ll need to move it to the right. This will allow your hood to open all the way.
