background
There’s a lot that’s still up in the air when it comes to Tesla Cybertruck specs, but one thing we know for certain is that it will feature a 6.5-foot bed with 100 cubic feet of cargo volume.
It seems like the only thing certain about the new Tesla Cybertruck so far is change. While we do know the truck’s bed will be 78 inches, or 6.5 feet long, measures for payload and towing capacity are, as yet, only “claimed” But with claims of up to 14,000 pounds of towing capacity and the ability to haul 3,500 pounds of payload, our interest remains piqued!

Tesla Cybertruck truck bed dimensions

While the Tesla Cybertruck is rumored to have several available ranges, the body will be the same no matter how far you can drive it on a single charge. And that sameness goes for the truck bed, too. Unfortunately, the only confirmed specs we have, so far, for the Cybertruck are the length and payload capacity: 6.5 feet and 3,500 pounds, respectively.
Though the short bed had some worried about hauling large, or long, items, Elon Musk assures potential owners that the truck’s “flip stop” tailgate feature will allow for a full 4x8 drywall sheet to fit in the bed.

Like much of the vehicle, the Cybertruck’s bed is projected to be the stuff of science fiction dreams. In addition to the “flip stop” feature, a 240-volt outlet will allow owners to power or charge tools and devices with the Cybertruck’s battery rather than a generator. If you’re worried this will deplete the truck’s battery, Tesla has also teased that they plan to release a solar roof option for the truck.
In addition to these power options, Tesla reports that Cybertruck’s bed—which they call a “vault”—will be fully lockable. The entirety will shelter under an innovative, or as Musk calls it, “magic”, tonneau cover that rolls up using a motorized system.

This app is great, but the customer service is even better! Not to mention convenient! My husband and I got the lowest rate (much lower than the rates I was finding online through my own searches), quickly, and pretty much all through text message! Thank you so much for a hassle free experience👍
