Online replacement of a lost Arkansas driver’s license

Go to the AR OMV’s website and request a duplicate license online via the

Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration (DFA) portal

. Prepare to provide basic information to verify your identity, including:

Last name

Date of birth

Driver’s license number

Last five digits of your Social Security number

Follow the on-screen prompts and pay the fee. Make sure that your current address is still correct, as that’s where the replacement license will be mailed out to by the state revenue office.

In-person replacement of a lost license

Locate an office: Find the nearest Arkansas revenue branch or local DMV office that offers the driver services you need.

Pre-register online: You will save time by starting the application process ahead of time, and you will be given a case number to bring to the DMV. The portal will also explain exactly what sort of documentation you will need, but you can double-check the driver’s license

One document as proof of legal presence

Social Security number (SSN)

Primary document as proof of identity (like birth certificate, U.S. passport, or other government agency ID card that shows your full name; minors may use a school ID)

Secondary documents as

Don’t forget to freshen up before you head to your appointment! You’ll be required to take a new AR driver photo for your replacement identification card at the issuing driver’s license office.
