How to measure your BMW M3’s bolt pattern

Start by choosing a bolt and measuring from its outer edge to the center of a bolt opposite it. Since the M3’s wheels have an odd number of lugs, you will wind up in between two of them if you measure straight across. To combat this, pick one of the two nearest lugs and measure to the center of it.

Once you have your diameter, all you have to do is pair that with the number of bolts on each wheel and you’ve got the bolt pattern!
