background
A 2017 Honda Accord bolt pattern is 5 x 4.5 or 5 on 4.5.  This means that there are five bolts on each wheel and they are arranged in a circle that is 4.5 inches in diameter.
Honda Accords are popular for a reason—they’re reliable, stylish, and economical. If you have a 2017 Honda Accord, you might be looking for some ways that you can customize it and make it stand out from the rest—and some new custom wheels are a great way to do just that!
But before you start shopping, there are a few things that you’ll need to know—namely, your bolt pattern.

2017 Honda Accord bolt pattern

Every 2017 Honda Accord has a bolt pattern of 5 x 4.5. This is also sometimes written as 5 on 4.5, but they mean exactly the same thing. What is that thing, you ask? Here’s the deal: all bolt patterns (they’re sometimes also called lug patterns) can be denoted like this:
# of bolts x diameter of the circle they form
So the 5 x 4.5 lug pattern of your Accord means that there are five bolts on each wheel and that they are placed in a circle that’s 4.5 inches in diameter. That’s it!
Well, not really. There are a few other measurements and specs you need to know to make sure that your new wheels are a proper (and safe) fit. Fortunately, we’ve got all of those here too!
  • Original size: 16” to 17”
  • Stud size: M12 x 1.5 (12mm stud with threads that are 1.5mm apart)
  • Offset: 35-54 mmm
  • Center bore: 64.1 mm
  • Wheel tightening torque: 108 Nm

How to measure your Honda Accord’s bolt pattern

This should give you all the info you need to be able to pick out some new wheels for your Honda Accord. But if you want to know how to measure the bolt pattern yourself, it’s easy to learn!
You’ll need a ruler or a measuring tape, and make sure you can see all the markings on it. Precision counts here, as your friends will not be impressed if you measure incorrectly and your wheels fall off. They might be amused, though.
Select any bolt you like and measure the distance from the outer edge of the bolt hole to the center point of the bolt that’s across from it. As there are five bolts, none of them will be precisely opposite from each other—that’s totally okay. Just select either of the bolts that are nearest to being directly across and you’ll be good to go.
The measurement that you have is the diameter of the circle that your bolts form. Combine that with the number of bolts per wheel, and you have your bolt pattern!
