Can I drive without a license in Mississippi?

Do I need to get a license? I don't have a license because usually I only have to drive short distances (to the store or doctor's appointments). I also use farm equipment on roads.

“Driving without a license on public roads and highways is illegal in Mississippi with a few exceptions:
  • farmers driving farm equipment
  • military personnel
  • railroad engineers
Unlicensed driving is considered a misdemeanor and the court can issue a fine of $200 to $500 and jail time of two days to six months for this violation.
Valid car insurance is also required to drive legally in Mississippi.”
