background
The 2016 Hyundai Sonata has Apple CarPlay as a standard feature, but it came as a late addition and may only be available on specific models.
If you’re ready to rock out on the road, Apple CarPlay is one of the easiest ways to connect your tunes through your car. Hyundai introduced standard Apple CarPlay in the late 2016 Sonata model, but certain 2015 models may have the capability. But while it’s a convenient feature, not all cars have it—especially older models.
