Seating
The seating configuration for the Acadia varies depending on the trim level. The base model SL has standard seating for seven across three rows, with no option for second-row bucket seats. Upgrading to the SLT offers more luxury and convenience with leather upholstery, power-adjustable front seats, a power liftgate, and second-row captain's chairs instead of a bench (you can forego the captain seats for the bench). If you opt for the off-road-ready AT4, seating is reduced to five in favor of additional storage and less weight—but seating for six or seven is available as an option.
In all models of the Acadia (except the AT4), you can expect to find:

- Thir row 50/50 split-bench seat
- 4-way manual driver and passenger seat adjuster

Technology is a strong point for the GMC Acadia, and its user-friendly tech controls offer something for the entire family. The base-level SL comes well-equipped with infotainment features like an 8-inch touchscreen, standard Apple CarPlay/Android Auto connectivity, and OnStar with onboard Wi-Fi. Upgrading to the SLE, SLT, AT4, or Denali unlocks other useful features, some of which include:

While the most desirable infotainment and tech features may not come standard in the GMC Acadia, upgrades are plenty. Here are some of the features and packages you may find on the 2020 GMC Acadia:

Storage
The redesigned Acadia may be more practical for fitting in garages and parking spots, but interior spaciousness takes a bit of a hit. There’s a fair bit of interior storage space, and the configuration is well-laid out with convenient features such as an available hands-free liftgate and second-row seats that slide and tilt forward for easier access to the third row.
However, when it comes to cargo space, the Acadia falls short. You’ll find just 79 cubic feet of cargo space behind the first row and 41.7 cubic feet behind the second. With the third-row seats in use, you can fit only two carry-on suitcases—fewer than most of its competitors. The Acadia may not be the best pick if you’re hoping to haul people and cargo simultaneously, the Acadia may not be the best pick.
Style
While the 2020 GMC Acadia may be smaller than its predecessor, it doesn’t lack in style and functionality. With several trim levels and plenty of upgradable options and features, you can find the perfect Acadia to suit your family.
