As a practical and affordable family sedan, the all-new
Toyota
Corolla is excellent for most buyers. Whatever model you choose, you can be confident that your Toyota Corolla is a wise investment, which remains true for the new Corolla SE Apex. Read on as we unveil more about the Toyota Corolla SE Apex and how to get the best
insurance
for your car.

What are the specs and features of the Toyota Corolla SE Apex?

As
CNET
explains, the SE Apex has a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, the same as in the Corolla SE and XSE. This Corolla is a good pick because it can keep it going around town without sacrificing overall efficiency.
The Apex comes with a choice of automatic or manual transmission. The automated rev-matching system is smooth and something we're used to seeing in more expensive sports cars, but it's a nice addition to the Corolla, even if the shifts are a little too long. It is an excellent vehicle for novice stick-shifters because of its light and easy-to-manipulate clutch. The Apex becomes even more fun to drive with the six-speed gearbox.

Design and price of the Toyota Corolla SE Apex

The Corolla Apex's body roll has been reduced so that the sedan can be driven safely on curving roads while still offering a higher sense of speed. The Mazda MX-5 Miata functions like this. A classic "slow vehicle fast" argument, this small Corolla has a smile factor that's hard to ignore.
Toyota's way of saying "louder" is a "sport-tuned exhaust," included in the Apex package. A gold-colored body trim and a retuned suspension are also included. Depending on options, the current price range for a new Toyota Corolla APEX SE is between $26,345 and $27,404.

What are the benefits of the Toyota Corolla SE Apex?

In addition to new, stiffer coil springs and internal rebound shocks which improved handling significantly, the vehicle was lowered by 0.6 inches (15.2 mm). The Corolla is composed and nearly flat in turns. Particularly during braking maneuvers, the body movements are precisely regulated. A well-tuned steering system completes the package for a dynamic automobile.
Toyota used a variety of testing facilities to refine their vehicles' dynamic properties, including the Toyota Arizona Proving Ground and the Texas MotorSport Ranch in the United States.
Even though it boasts steering-wheel-mounted paddle shifters, a CVT isn't the best option unless you value fuel economy more than having fun on the road. However, the CVT includes additional safety systems, such as Dynamic Radar Cruise Control and Lane Tracing Assist, which are not available in the manual.
