The release of a new
Dodge
Charger model is always a reason to celebrate for car enthusiasts. Dodge's signature muscle car has stuck out for its modern power and throwback style. The 2023 Dodge Charger promises to carry on that tradition.
According to
Kelley Blue Book
, the 2023 Dodge Charger is yet another noteworthy sedan to carry the Charger name. It's a vehicle with ample space, and customers who want to can choose upgraded engines for extra horsepower. However, there is a bittersweet side to the new Charger, as it could mark the end of an era for the brand.

Trim options to please any muscle car fan

Seeing as it is a muscle car, interested buyers will likely want to know how much "muscle" the 2023 Dodge Charger has. The good news is that the Charger essentially has however much power a driver wants from it. This is because Dodge offers several different trim levels with different engine power.
Base 2023 Dodge Charger models come with a 3.6-liter 292-horsepower V6. Buyers can choose to add all-wheel drive no matter which trim level they pick.
The most powerful Chargers are equipped with Hemi V8s that produce crazy levels of horsepower. These Chargers are known as the Hellcat models, and the strongest Hellcat reaches an astonishing 797 horsepower.

The 2023 Dodge Charger isn't just a muscle car, though. It's intended to be a car that you can comfortably drive on a long road trip, even one with a family. That is why it offers four doors and spacious seating for all passengers.
To add to this driver-friendly side of the Charger, models come standard with a functional infotainment system. UConnect is not regarded as particularly innovative or fancy, but it is easy to use and does more than enough.
While the seats and infotainment system are well-regarded, Kelley Blue Book was not as enthusiastic about the interior overall. They state that it feels outdated both in the materials it uses and its general design.

There is no official price for the 2023 Dodge Charger yet, but Kelley Blue Book estimates that a base model will have an MSRP of about $32,000. Choosing an all-wheel-drive version will bump the price up by $3,000 or so.
Top-tier Hellcat Chargers will be priced significantly higher, though. Kelley Blue Book states that the highest-end model could sell for as much as $83,000.
For fans who are considering getting a new Dodge Charger, it is important to note that time could be running out. Dodge previously announced that they are phasing out the Charger as they shift away from gas-powered vehicles. Once this happens, there will likely be an electric Charger in the future, but it could take time for this to be released.
