background
Jeff Bezos shocked many when he was interviewed driving a 1997
Honda
Accord at a time when he was worth over $10 billion.
Yes, the same guy who spent $5.5 billion going into space for 11 minutes used to cruise around like your average pizza delivery driver, but a deeper dive into the Amazon CEO’s car collection shows there’s way more than Hondas in his garage.

Jeff Bezos owns some of the rarest cars in the world

What’s much less surprising than Bezos driving a Honda Accord is seeing the $4.8 million Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita, which is one of just three ever made.
According to
Hot Cars
, the Trevita is one of the most expensive and rarest cars in his entire collection. It comes with a 4.8-liter V8 engine that makes 1,018 hp.
Another showstopper is the Lamborghini Veneno Roadster, which is worth over $5 million. Keeping trend with the Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita, the Veneno Roadster is one of just nine ever made. The 6.5-liter V12 engine produces 740 hp.
Then there’s the Ferrari Pininfarina Sergio. One of only 6 units, the Pininfarina Sergio is worth over $3 million.
The supercar was named after the son of legendary automaker Battista Pininfarina, who passed in 2012. In order to get your hands on a Pininfarina Sergio, you had to have been handpicked by Ferrari.
Lastly, there’s the Lykan HyperSport, which boasts 15-carat diamond-plated headlights. Bezos shelled out $4 million for this supercar, which is one of seven.

The best deals in Jeff Bezos’ collection

If you were going to buy one car from the billionaire’s lineup for yourself, make it the Mercedes-Benz S450. It’s the most affordable car in his collection after his old Honda Accord, but it's also one of the best for the value.
Luxurious styling, smooth handling, and seamless shifting are all hallmarks of this beloved sportscar.
Another of Bezo’s more realistic picks is the Land Rover Range Rover.
At a time when gas prices are hitting $4 a gallon and up, the infamous gas-guzzling Range Rover might not be the right choice for everybody, but six plug-in hybrid Range Rover models are on the way for 2023.
Bezos’ 2020 Cadillac Escalade is also a great choice. While the Escalade tends may be pricier than some of its rivals, the trade-off is getting one of the sleekest and most luxurious cars in its category.
The Escalade also comes with a V8 engine paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission that delivers 420 hp.
